Silvia Pedone, a member of Dost-I, is an art historian and Byzantinist. SHe works at the prestigious Accademia Nazionale dei Lincei in Rome and carries out his research activity between Italy and Turkey.

In 2022 she published the results of an extensive research on the theme of color in sculpture: a topic discussed in her second PhD thesis and expanded on the occasion of the publication of the volume.
