Elif Tokay works in the History of Religions Department of the Faculty of Theology at İstanbul University. She received her doctorate from the University of, Cardiff with a thesis on Arabic translations of the homilies of Gregory of Nazianzus (2013).

In 2021, she published a book on Gregory’s role in the development of Trinitarian doctrine. In this podcast Elif Tokay introduces us to Gregory and his thought.
