Urban Justice and Public Housing Policies in Madrid
A Review from the Capabilities Approach
Exhibition developed for the International Conference Philosophy of the City, held in Madrid, IF from 2-4 October 2024, at the Institute of Philosophy of the Spanish National Research Council, IFS-CSIC.
This project examines the concept of justice in urban environments. It considers that addressing the normative issues associated with inequality and social exclusion in urban areas requires a spatial approach to justice that takes into account not only urban structure and distributive conflicts in cities, but also collective agency and the advancement of human capabilities.
