Dilexi Te is Pope Leo XIV’s first official document. As such, this document serves as a programme for his papacy. In this exhortation, Pope Leo XIV, in harmony with the teaching of Pope Francis, emphasises that the poor are at the heart of the Church, because God’s love is revealed through the special care shown to them.

The Apostolic Vicar of Istanbul, Monsignor Massimiliano Palinuro, will present Dilexi Te, highlight the document’s key points, situate it within the context of papal teaching, and emphasise its fundamental pastoral and Christian life recommendations.
