Within the framework of the group “Théologie en dialogue” which brings together Christian and Muslim theologians, Father Claudio Monge, director of the Dominican Istanbul study center (Dost-I), and Denis Gril, member of the institute of research on the Arab and Muslim world of the university of Aix-Marseille, have reflected together on the way Christians and Muslims conceive Divine revelation.

The book is divided into three parts. The first part explains how to refer to God in the Christian tradition. The second part is about how to say God in Islam. The last part considers how the words we use to describe God can become the place for a real dialogue.
