Living as Catholic in Istanbul
Forum-Theater Workshop on Solidarity and Diversity
The Catholic parishes of Istanbul form a rich and diverse community, bringing together people of different ages, countries, languages, and life experiences. In this two-day creative workshop, participants will explore together the various experiences of living as Catholics in Istanbul, share their stories, and bring them to the stage using the forum-theater method.
During the workshop, participants will:
– Discuss the different aspects of living as Catholics in Istanbul
– Explore cultural diversity and shared experiences within the community
– Create everyday life stories through short theatrical exercises
– Develop new ideas to strengthen solidarity
Rather than a mere discussion panel, this workshop is designed as a space for collective reflection, listening, and creative production.
Participation of Catholic community members of all ages and backgrounds is highly encouraged. No previous theater experience is required. Everyone’s story and experience are valuable.
To participate, registration is required by writing to the following email address: in**@******er.org.
