Hi everyone !

We’re Marie (right) and Thaïs (left) and we arrived in Istanbul a week ago. We’re gonna stay here for 3 months helping the Dominican’s community by doing multiples tasks such as :

• Gardening

• Rearranging/ cleaning the library

• Helping for prayers, communication, network,…

It’s very exciting !

Moreover, we’re teachers 2 days per week in a school that was created by the Salesiens community.

This school only welcomes kids from 6 to 16 years old who come from everywhere in the world (Iraq, Iran, Congo, South Africa, Syria and many other countries) and are refugees in Turkey.

We really love Istanbul and we tried to visit as much as we could since we arrived. Indeed, we went to Ayasofya, the Grand Bazaar, the Blue Mosque, the Egyptian Bazaar, Büyükada …
