Joe Egan is a guitarist, improviser and composer based in Nottingham. Joe performs, writes and produces music in a number of bands and as a solo artist. These include jazz crossover trio Major Ruse who have received national radio play on BBC 6 Music, have performed live at Love Supreme, Jazz Café Camden and Giles Peterson’s We Out Here festival. 

In Sen Piyer, Joe will begin improvising on widely known music before moving on to sacred music, especially the canons of Taizé.

After a short break there will be time for a jam session and some games to involve the public in the performance.
